Consultation has concluded
The Policy and Guidelines set a vision, and parameters for assessment to inform the planning and design of signage in Moyne Shire reflective of the natural and urban landscape, local economy, community values and expectations and to help Council make a judgement where there are no decision guidelines.
Given the complexities of signage and the far- reaching impacts, it is intended that the Policy and Guidelines will be widely consulted including police, emergency services and other government agencies, in addition to the Moyne Shire community, in an effort to gain maximum input and support for Council’s approach to signage.
The Signage Policy will be developed in consultation with the community to provide a local context and to establish a set of principles based on the unique qualities, attributes and “identity” of Moyne Shire.
We invite the community to provide feedback on the Policy and Guidelines below under the "Have Your Say" section. Feedback closes at 4pm Tuesday August 6.
