Moyne Shire Council would like to hear our community's choices to replace the 16 Poplar trees soon to be removed at Tea Tree Lake, Mortlake.
While works to remove the trees have been delayed until Spring, we are looking into replacement trees due to the failure of the cuttings taken.
BACKGROUND Of the 16 trees that were assessed by an arborist, all were considered unsustainable in their current health condition and should be replaced. The trees are within an area of heritage overlay, and a planning permit has been approved for the works. The permits and overlay documentation are listed on the side panel.
