Works update 2 July 2026

Footpath, kerb and channel, and other works are now underway along High Street, Koroit.

  • July-August – eastern side from Lions Op Shop to Commercial Road
  • July-August – western side from Sturt St to Commercial Road
  • Late July-August – western side from Garden Street to Bowls Club
  • Late July - September– eastern side from Mill Street to Council depot
  • August – Council depot car park (new visitor car parking & minor works)
  • August-October – new asphalt road surface, carparks, wombat crossing and bus stop completion (following community consultation), line marking, and landscaping including planting of new trees.

The northbound lane on High Street will be closed daily from Sturt Street to Commercial Road from 8am to 5pm during works until 10 July.

Please follow all detour signage, and drive to the conditions of the road.

We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the Koroit community as we complete these essential works. Safety is our priority, and these temporary measures help ensure a safe environment for everyone.
