Improving access to public transport in Koroit

Moyne Shire Council is seeking community feedback on proposed new bus stop locations along High Street, Koroit. The proposal aims to improve access to public transport services for residents and visitors across the township.

Why are new bus stops being proposed?

Additional bus stops on High Street have been identified through several of Council’s planning and community engagement processes, including:

  • Community consultation undertaken as part of the Koroit Streetscape Project

  • Moyne Shire Council's Active Transport Plan (August 2025).

  • The Koroit Structure Plan 2020, which identified a need to improve bus stop infrastructure and public transport access.

  • Currently, there are only two bus stops servicing the southern end of High Street, located approximately 1 kilometre from key destinations.

Funding

The installation of the proposed bus stops will be fully funded by the Victorian Government through the Department of Transport and Planning.
