As an approved provider of 8 early childhood education and care services, Moyne Shire Council has a range of operational policies and procedures that are regularly reviewed and updated.
Some policies and procedures are required by the Education and Care National Regulations, and some are developed by Council to guide and support best practice.
Over the coming months, we’ll be undertaking an extensive review of all policies and procedures, and we’d like community feedback.
We’re currently seeking feedback on our Nutrition, Oral Health, and Active Play policy, which is available to download in the Documents section of this page. This updated policy has been drafted to reflect current research, contemporary views and community expectations around creating the conditions for supportive, inclusive and safe food environments.
The closing date for feedback is 4pm on Thursday 23 July 2026.
