Update 23 September 2026

To progress the project, Council engaged NPM Architects to prepare and finalise tender-ready documentation for the new facility. This work has enabled the project to proceed to the public tender phase.

The public tender for construction of the new change rooms opened on 19 September and closes on 19 October 2026.

Following the tender assessment and award process, construction is proposed to commence on 27 January 2027, with completion anticipated by 30 July 2027.
