Drainage works completed

Drainage Works in commercial road are now complete! Council thanks the community for their patience and understanding during the works on Commercial Road over the past couple of weeks.

The completion of this work marks a significant milestone for the Township Renewal Project and are a crucial component for moving to the next phase, footpath construction on the North Side of commercial Road between IGA and High Street which will begin in early 2024.

Council knows that while critical, these works have also caused some disruption for businesses. As a token of our thanks Council has arranged for window washing for businesses in the works area.
