The Mortlake Bowling Club premises is located at 9 Montgomery Way, Mortlake on Crown land which is managed by the Moyne Shire Council.
These premises are currently leased to the Mortlake Bowling Club in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020, the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978 and council’s Commercial and Community Property Leasing policy. The existing lease expires on 21 December 2024.
Pursuant to the Local Government Act 2020, the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978 and council’s Commercial and Community Property Leasing policy, council intends to enter into a new lease agreement with the Mortlake Bowling Club for a 21-year term commencing 22 December 2024. The purpose of the lease is to continue operating a bowling club.
Council seeks feedback from the public regarding this re-leasing proposal. Feedback must be received by 5pm 20 December 2024.
