Footpath use in Moyne Shire

As part of the development of Moyne’s Footpath Construction Plan, input from the community will be sought to prioritise gaps and to develop principles that reflect needs and aspirations. Engagement will be conducted at different points throughout the project. In this way, community engagement aims to ensure that diverse stakeholders have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the project
• Describe needs and aspirations for the footpath network in Moyne and surrounds and
• Inform Council on where footpath links or improvements need to be considered.

This survey will also ask you about barriers you may face when considering whether to travel by the footpath network. This information is collected to help prioritise new footpath links in a way that ensures all people in the community have equal opportunity to benefit from the footpath network.
