Council recognises that arts and culture mean different things to different people and that this meaning continues to change as communities and places evolve. Supporting creativity of all forms develops our local talent, sustains our local traditions, and connects us to each other.
Council is committed to working with the communities of Moyne Shire to support and promote the continued development of this vital aspect of community identity. We are excited to invite the community to be a part of developing the Moyne Shire Arts and Culture Strategy.

Moyne Shire Council and creative sector consultants Future Tense have been investigating options for the forthcoming Arts and Culture Strategy.
So far feedback has been gathered through community consultation sessions and a working group has been formed to help developed the strategy. We would love your feedback on a proposed vision for the cultural and creative life of the Shire, the role of Council, and areas of focus for the Strategy.
