Draft Strategy released for comment
After several months of work, Council is excited to release the draft Arts and Culture Strategy for community feedback. This six-year strategy includes a vision for the creative future of Moyne and articulates what Council will do to support the growth and diversity of creative activities and opportunities across the Shire. We are really eager to hear what you think!

How to provide feedback
There are a number of ways you can provide feedback both in person and online.

1. Stop by for a friendly chat at one of our drop-in sessions. We will be on hand to answer any questions and take your feedback at the following times and locations:

  • Saturday, 8 June 2024, 9:00am–12:00pm at the Port Fairy Community Markets
  • Sunday, 9 June 2024, 9:00am–12:00pm at the Koroit Community Markets
  • Monday, 10 June 2024, 10:00am–1:00pm at the Mortlake Art Show, and
  • Wednesday 12 June 2024, 6:00pm–8:00pm online via Teams.

Feel free to drop by any of these sessions. If you want to join the online session, just register your details and we will send you the Teams link.

2. View the draft Strategy document by reaching out to our Customer Service Centres at Port Fairy or Mortlake during business hours. Additionally, copies of the draft Strategy will be available for review at the Port Fairy, Koroit, and Mortlake Libraries.

3. Email to moyne@moyne.vic.gov.au with "Draft Arts and Culture Strategy" as the subject

4. Written and mailed to:

    Moyne Shire Council and creative sector consultants Future Tense have been investigating options for the forthcoming Arts and Culture Strategy.


    So far feedback has been gathered through community consultation sessions and a working group has been formed to help developed the strategy. We would love your feedback on a proposed vision for the cultural and creative life of the Shire, the role of Council, and areas of focus for the Strategy.

    A series of community consultations will be held to give members of the Moyne Community a chance to have their say about what the Arts and Culture Strategy should include.

    Saturday November 25 2pm, Koroit Theatre

    Wednesday November 29 6pm, Online
