Moyne Shire Council wants to hear from our community. Whether you are a regular and long-term user of the facilities, swim often, occasionally, or not at all. We’d like to understand the value of aquatic facilities to you and how they meet community needs, what barriers exist, and what would encourage more residents to enjoy aquatics facilities in the future.
Council has engaged specialist consultants LARCAN to complete a strategy for Moyne's aquatic facilities. This strategy will provide clear direction for the future of aquatics provision in Moyne.
How to Get Involved:
Complete the community survey below. Paper surveys will be available at:
- Moyne Shire Council customer service offices in Mortlake and Port Fairy
- Koroit, Mortlake and Port Fairy libraries
- Port Fairy visitor information centre
- Hawkesdale, Macarthur and Mortlake outdoor pools
Attend an on-site “Have Your Say” session:
- Friday 6 February 2026, 9-10am - In front of Panmure General Store
- Friday 6 February 2026, 12-1pm - Mortlake Library
- Friday 6 February 2026, 3:30-4:30pm - Macarthur Bowls Club
- Saturday 7 February 2026, 9-10am - In front of Hawkesdale Post Office
- Saturday 7 February 2026, 11am-12pm - Port Fairy Farmers Market (Railway Place)
